Since 2005, Terra Canis has stood for uncompromising 100% human-grade quality in all ingredients – a rarity in the pet industry. We only use ingredients that are authorised for human consumption at the time of processing. Our products are manufactured in our own facility near Munich, under strict food standards and backed by decades of butchery expertise. The result: maximum safety, exceptional quality and complete peace of mind at every meal.
You can see, smell and feel the difference as soon as you open the tin: whole pieces of meat, fresh fruit and vegetables, natural herbs and high-quality oils. Our menus look and taste like home-cooked meals – because, in essence, they are. This natural quality not only ensures that they are highly enjoyable, but also well tolerated and full of nutrients.
Yes - particularly so. Our Single Protein Recipes and the open, honest declaration of all ingredients make Terra Canis ideal for dogs with allergies or intolerances. You always know exactly what’s in your dog’s bowl – without compromise.
Terra Canis was born out of genuine love. The brand was created because founder Birgitta Ornau could not find any food that met her ethical and quality requirements for food for her rescued dogs. This personal history characterises Terra Canis to this day: honest, responsible and with genuine dedication to animal welfare.
Sustainability is not a trend for us, but a basic principle: 100% green electricity, fully recyclable packaging, social projects and at least 100,000 donated menus for animals in need every year. With every can of Terra Canis you are not only opting for premium quality - but also making a positive contribution to the world.
