Terra Canis revolutionized the pet food industry in 2005 by introducing a groundbreaking concept - "Dog nutrition in 100% human-grade quality of all ingredients." This innovative approach set new standards for quality, paving the way for a unique pet food experience. Securing a special permit from the Munich Veterinary Inspection Office allowed Terra Canis to produce pet food in a genuine human-grade quality environment, collaborating with the traditional Munich butcher's shop, Schäbitz.

From the outset, Terra Canis prioritized the use of ingredients officially approved for human food products at the time of processing. This commitment to freshness and the highest quality, combined with a special permit, marked a significant milestone in the industry. Today, the uncompromising quality and delectable aroma of Terra Canis menus remain our main and distinguishing characteristics.

Driven by increasing demand, the Munich butcher's shop faced capacity constraints. Upholding our unwavering commitment to quality, Terra Canis decided to build its own state-of-the-art facility just outside Munich. With Master Butchers being essential part of our manufacturing team, Terra Canis ensures decades of experience and expertise in the butcher's trade are retained.

Manufacturing products in-house provides Terra Canis with maximum control over ingredients quality and production processes. Own production facility ensures that Terra Canis customers can confidently rely on the premium quality of ingredients in all products.
