Terra Canis LIGHT

We only use lean meat and low-starch fruit and vegetables for these meals. Coconut flour, grape seed oil and artichoke leaves support the fat metabolism and are also known to have a positive effect on blood lipid levels. Fibre from psyllium husks makes dogs feel fuller. We recommend you make sure you dog gets enough exercise as a supporting measure.

Light menus FAQs

The Light menus have been specially developed for dogs that tend to be overweight or are already slightly overweight. With their reduced fat content, they are low in calories without sacrificing important nutrients. This allows dogs to lose weight healthily or maintain their ideal weight - without starving or being malnourished.
Light menus contain a large portion of healthy fruit and vegetables and nutritious meat. They provide valuable vitamins, minerals and fibre that supply the body with everything it needs - with significantly fewer calories. The dog loses weight but still gets all the nutrients and does not lose muscle mass, for example.
Coconut flour, papaya, pineapple and artichoke leaves round off the Light meals. These ingredients are believed to support fat metabolism in a natural way and can help to maintain healthy blood fat levels. They are also considered particularly digestion-friendly.
Yes. The menus contain everything your dog needs. Among other things, they contain psyllium husks, which can contribute to a better feeling of satiety. The fibre swells in the digestive tract and therefore provides longer-lasting feeling of fullness.
For best results, Terra Canis recommends combining the Light menu with lots of exercise. Walks, play and activity not only help to burn off fat, but also strengthen the heart, circulation and muscles - for a healthy, vital dog at its ideal weight.
