Terms and Conditions for participation in the “Star Bonus program” of Terra Canis GmbH

1.1. Subject of these Terms and Conditions is the participation in the "star bonus program" (hereinafter referred to as "Bonus Program") of Terra Canis GmbH (hereinafter referred to as "Provider"). The participation in the Bonus Program grants the Customer the opportunity to collect stars when purchasing goods and services of the Provider, which can be redeemed according to clause 3 of these Terms and Conditions.

1.2. The operator of the Bonus Program is the Provider..

1.3. Participation in the Bonus Program is free of charge. Every natural person who has reached the age of 18 is eligible to participate. With the registration of the Customer within the Online Shop, the Customer automatically takes part in the Bonus Program. The Provider may refuse the participation of persons for objective reasons.

2.1. The Provider shall grant the Customer a bonus in the form of stars for the purchase of creditable goods and services via the Provider’s Online Shop in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

2.2. One star has an equivalent value of 50 cents. The amount of the star credit depends on the value of the goods paid for. For each order transaction in the amount of more than 50.00 euros, the Customer will automatically be credited with one star for every 50.00 euros worth of goods as soon as the Provider has received payment. The Customer can view the status of his star account at any time within his personal area within the Online Shop ("Stars").

2.3. Stars may only be used for the purposes specified in these Terms and conditions. Stars are not transferable and cannot be converted into cash and paid out.

2.4. Objections to the correctness or completeness of the respective star credit must be asserted by the Customer to the Provider at the latest within one month after crediting; otherwise the current star rating is deemed to be approved.

2.5. If it subsequently transpires that the conditions for the granting of stars were not met or if the conditions subsequently cease to apply, e.g. through cancellation of the contract for the purchase of creditable goods or services, the Provider may cancel the star credit.

2.6. The Provider reserves the right to change, limit or exclude the granting of stars at any time, e.g. in the context of special promotions, when granting other discounts or benefits, etc.

3.1. The Customer can redeem the stars within the framework of a purchase via the Online Shop. For this purpose, the Customer can select the payment method "Redeem Stars" during the ordering process. In this case, the current star credit will be credited to the invoice amount to be paid. The General Terms and Conditions and time and quantity restrictions communicated in this context shall apply.

3.2. Stars have a validity period of 36 months and expire automatically at the end of the quarter in which this 36-month period ends. In addition, stars may expire if the respective customer account is blocked by the Provider for objectively justified reasons

Daten The Provider processes personal data of Customers in connection with the bonus program exclusively in connection with the administration of the bonus program. Further information on the processing of personal data by the Provider can be found in the Online Shop's data protection declaration.

5.1. The Provider has unlimited liability for intent, malice and gross negligence as well as for personal injury.

5.2. The Provider is liable for damages in the case of a slightly negligent breach of an essential contractual obligation (“Cardinal Obligations”) limited to the amount of the contract-typical, foreseeable damage. In this case, the Provider is not liable for loss of profit, indirect damage, consequential damage and claims of third parties. Cardinal Obligations within the meaning of this Terms and Conditions include, in addition to the main contractual performance obligations, also obligations whose fulfilment is essential for the proper execution of the contract and on whose compliance the Customer may regularly rely.

5.3. Any further liability of the provider is excluded.

6.1. The Provider reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions of participation in the bonus program at any time while safeguarding the legitimate interests of the Customer. Adjustments, changes or additions to these Terms and Conditions will be announced within the Online Shop.

6.2. The Provider also reserves the right to terminate the bonus program within a reasonable period of time. In this case, the Customer is entitled to redeem collected Stars within a period of one month after notification of the termination of the bonus program. After this period, the stars will expire.

7.1. These Terms and Conditions are subject to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

7.2. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms and Conditions is the registered office of the respective defendant; if another legal place of jurisdiction is available to the Customer, the Customer shall choose the relevant place of jurisdiction.

7.3. In Case of differences between the German and the English version or in case of any other doubt, the German version of this Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
