These solutions range from reforestation with species of trees that grow quickly, to sustainable wood production and other forestry products, to integrated agroforestry. This creates new ways for the people on the ground to earn an income. Tree Lover: GAME WITH CHESTNUT, BLACKBERRIES & FOREST HERBS

Forests are not only a part of the environment that needs to be protected: they also have a lot to offer from a culinary perspective. Some of the healthiest and best ingredients that forests have to offer have been selected for our Tree Lover menu. Aromatic game meat from free-range animals provides a healthy, very easily digestible source of protein which is suitable even for sensitive dogs. Protein-rich chestnuts and alkaline potatoes make sure your dog gets plenty of energy. The best known tree fruits, apples and pears, come together with blackberries and forest herbs (mugwort, nettles, thyme) to provide many healthy vitamins, minerals and trace elements, as well as secondary phytochemicals. The natural additions of seaweed, brewer’s yeast, rosehip, eggshell, mineral clay and rapeseed oil make this a real feast for your dog.

Fat separation in beef and game products
Visible fat separation in beef and game meat occurs naturally. This does not result from fat being added deliberately. Instead, the fat naturally present in the meat separates more during cooking than with other types of meat. Seasonality also plays an important role, particularly with game products. Depending on the season, game animals accumulate different amounts of body fat. Consequently, the fat content of the meat may vary slightly depending on the hunting period. Sometimes the meat is leaner and sometimes it contains slightly more fat – a completely natural variation that reflects the high quality and natural origin of our products.
