Dr Anna-Lena Ziese is part of our team of vets. She has specialist knowledge of animal nutrition and internal medicine which she brings to our nutrition advice and to the development of our products.
She is more than happy to answer any questions you may have about your pet's diet or about how to use our products.
Dr Ziese has loved animals ever since she can remember, and realised as a child that she wanted to help animals to lead healthy, happy lives. Her childhood dream came true when she studied veterinary medicine at the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich. She then went on to complete a PhD in gastroenterology, as part of which she researched the microbiome and how it can be influenced in patients suffering from various gastroenterological illnesses. Alongside her academic work, she was a practicing vet in nutritional consulting as well as in the gastroenterological department of the university clinic. As such, she brings a considerable number of years of clinical experience to the job as well as broad specialist veterinary knowledge which she uses in a targeted way when dealing with animals and their owners.
Dr Ziese has support from the animal world in the form of her rescue cat Chopinski, who never fails to put a smile on her face with his lovable antics.
